Here are some facts:
- AHSC served well over 45,500 meals to the Asian Communities since April 2009.
- In 2011, we were bestowed donations of 820 pounds of rice, 5,500 plates, 5,000 cups, and 35,000 napkins from an anonymous wholesale distributor.
- AHSC served more than 6,047 registered clients in 2011 alone.
- AHSC offers an array of services to its community to fulfill its vision – “to reduce health inequity and to improve health care quality for all Asians”.
As a nonprofit organization, AHSC depends largely on donated time and money to provide its services. According to a 2007 study by Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy, foundations giving to Asian communities has not kept pace with the growth of these communities or with increased foundation assets. That is why individual donations are more important than ever before.
To donate, please make checks payable to the Asian Health & Service Center and mail it to:

AHSC also relies on volunteers to carry out its big events, including the annual fundraising dinner, the Asian Community Health Fair and cultural holiday activities. To volunteer, please contact Nhi Truong.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
